Kenny Metroff: Stage Actor
In addition to his comedy credits, Kenny's roots as a performer are steeped in the theatre. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theater at Illinois State University, where he spent a summer performing and sword fighting in the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.
In Chicago, he teamed up with the non-profit Shantz Theater company. As a member of Shantz, he toured fringe festivals and enjoyed successful runs in Chicago storefronts with original productions by award-winning playwright, Matt Fotis.
Currently, Kenny is a member of the artistic team at
the pH Comedy Theater in Andersonville. In the spring of 2014, Kenny originated the role of Jesus in the over-the-top one-act play
The Last Supper: A Murder Mystery, which he also wrote.
